Slider settings will not save was created by georgefong
Hi.

I am hosting my own instance of Limesurvey (Version 4.3.29+201130) and all seems to be working OK generally.

However, there is one question (Multiple Numerical Input Type K) where I cannot save Slider settings. In particular I managed to set "Allow Reset the Slider" to yes. But the survey requester asked for it to be set to no.

I set it to no > hit the save button. But the setting does not change and the survey preview still shows the Reset button.

Does anyone have any idea why the setting will not save? All file permissions and ownership appear to be correct.

Cheers
George

This might be a bug in LS 4.x

You are aware that LS 4.x is currently considered "unstable"? I personally wouldn't use LS 4.x for production, only for testing.

Stick with LS 3.x for production work.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

I don't know about a bug - it works for me in 4.3.29.

@georgefong, can you attach a screenshot of all slider settings?

In the meantime, as a workaround, add this to the question source:

Code:
<style type="text/css">

  #question{QID} .btn-slider-reset {
    display: none;
  }
</style>

Cheers,
