when changing permissions of a newly created user, those changes are not saved in the database.
Only when giving the user super admin rights, this seems to work.
For example:
- after creating the user, all the permissions are unchecked in the "edit permissions" screen
- click the checkbox next to "Use internal database authentication" and then click the button "Save"
- re-open the "edit permissions" screen and check if the check box is still there
On my installation, it is gone.
What could be wrong there?
How can I debug this issue and find the cause for it?
In the meantime I found out something new:
When creating a new user with this version (4.3.24+201102), it seems to be possible to edit the permissions for that user. But changing permissions for already existing users does not work.
I created a test user where I was able to change the permissions.
But now, when trying to delete this test user, a JavaScript alert box is displayed saying "An error occured while trying to save, please reload the page.\nCode:1571926261195"
Any ideas?
