How to change color of progressbar?

How to change color of progressbar? was created by NESTSurvey
I want to change the color of my progressbar... I copied the fruity-design and and when i go to the global levelof the survey options i can just change the variation witch makes color of the bar.

Does someone now something about this?

add to your custom.css
Code:
.progress-bar {
    background-color: #263238; // or whatever color you like to have
 }

I tried this already and it is not chaning the color. The color is determined by the selected variation in the "Survey options for theme EMPA_NEST_BasilJung_fruity ( global level ) ". And there i can't choose inherit. I added a picture to the attachement.

Is my guess correct?
