Tokens for participant table was created by nicolae_stan93
Hello,

This question is regarding tokens for participant table. Is there any chance to add a participant to table without a token and have acces to survey without tokens.

Or in other way the question would be if I have a participant table on a survey the only way to acces the survey is with that token set on participant table?

Thank you

Your participants need a token when the survey is set to 'closed-access mode'. If you set your survey to be open access, people won't need a token. The input will be anonymous. If you still want to know who filled it in, you could add a question for the name and email address of the participant.

Please try it out first as follows;
1. Create a dummy survey with 1 question
2. Activate it. You will get a message that the survey results will not be linked to any users. Tell Limesurvey to continue by selecting "No, thanks".
3. Now test the survey. You can fill it in by just specifying the survey ID in the URL, no token ID. You can even change a setting to have it displayed on the home page publically.

When you have done this, you know you can now deactivate your other survey, have the participants table deleted, then activate it again and select "No, thanks".
