Hi there all, i install today a fresh lastest version of Limesurvey "Versión 4.3.10+200812" and I have some issues after installation.

First of all, during the installation, when Limesurvey check the requisites, mark me an alert on sodium php extension, I activate it in php-ini uncommenting "extension=sodium" but after restart server and check again for the requisites keep to saying that I have not installed it.

I keep with installation even without that, and installed it normally, but on Limesurvey, I can't acces to file manager, say that I have not permissions.



And, with the new input on demand question (new for me, my lastest Limesurvey version was 2.72) I add the question, and the subquestions, but when I preview the question, dont show me any subquestion, just the title of the question and nothing more.

Does anyone know why this happens?

I don't recommend version 4.x for production work yet, it is still too unstable. I would use the latest 3.x LTS version.

Having said that, please file bug reports for problems found in 4.x.

Ok, that can be the answer too for the reason that I can't send emails or why the logo dont appear just after the installation, the installer dont create the logo, I have to put it manually.

Ok, I install the lastest stable version and now happens this when I try to create a question, I cant write the title or the help, any idea why this happens? I have no issues during installation.

Im on a local XAMPP installation, the version is "Versión 3.23.0+200813"

What browser are you using? Are there any JavaScript errors in the console (F12)?

It can be a browser issue too. The fields are not rendered correct. Try a different browser to see if the fields get rendered there. If you still have issues, report these via the bugtracker.

Finally I fixed it, was caused by XAMPP, Limesurvey 3 have Issues with XAMPP with php 7.4, I installed XAMPP with php 7.2 and Limesurvey works Fine.
