I have created a survey with a link that I want to open in a new tab. This survey is setup as a template and so users import it when creating their own survey.

The issue I am encountering is that if the survey administrator is not a super user the "Target = _blank" setting is lost whenever they import the template survey.

Is there a way to fix that issue?

I have attached a sample survey with a link that opens in a new tab for reference.

What LimeSurvey version are you using?

It works as expected for me in version 3.22.210.

I am on version 3.19.2+191017.

Are you importing the survey as a user without super admin privileges? Because it works fine when you are a super admin.

Try disabling the XSS filter.
