Where is the survey menu? was created by anderswt
Hi,

I cannot find "Survey Menu" !? after installing the new 4.

I can create and edit a survey but only edit general setting and text information. There is button to the right in the list of surveys.

But where is the access to questions and groups? The manual says: "Under the Settings tab, the survey options and survey menu can be found" but I cant see any Settings tab not survey menu?!

Okay, the first screenshot is fine.

The second...? Yes, you're right, something important is missing.

I will install the version (though I still do not use 4.x.) to have a look.

Maybe you need to cleanup local cache.

Can you activate console ? (F12) and check if you have error.

Hi,

I am having a similar problem, but the system has not been updated lately, as far as I can tell.

When I try to create a new survey either by import, copy or from scratch, I get 4 green dots in the place of the survey menu.

See attached screen shot for the weird behaviour and one with the specs of the system I am working with.

The weird thing is that older surveys seem to work fine.
I thought this could be related to a space limit on the server or similar, but erasing some old surveys did not help either.

Any help would be very welcome.

Problem solved! It was Firefox specific and disappeared after clearing the cache and cookies.

Oki, Ive tried Forefox, Safari, and Chrome, same problem, even when clearing cache.

Is this problem solved in a newer release?

Then it's another issue .

Check console.log (F12)

oki.

When listing the Survey the following error appear:

Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://www.workem.org/limesurvey/tmp/assets/d2f2d4a6/build.min/js/adminsidepanel.js”. listsurveys:55:1

unreachable code after return statementlistActions.js:311:4


When clicking on particular survey the following errors appear:

Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://www.workem.org/limesurvey/tmp/assets/d2f2d4a6/build.min/js/adminsidepanel.js”. 748124:59:1

Layout was forced before the page was fully loaded. If stylesheets are not yet loaded this may cause a flash of unstyled content. jquery-3.5.1.min.js:2:81419

404 issue on asset …

Try
1. Try "reset asset" in General settings


If it don't work
try
2. Set debug=2 in config.php

Aah, Reset Asset worked, thanks for the survey menu!

But not for the home/frontpage where the survey, after activation, is not shown.

Please contact Administrator ( anderswt@dsv.su.se ) for further assistance. "
