I was updating the LS from 4.2.1 to 4.2.3.
Then saw it has a bug that blocked users from participating in a survey if they are not using the English translation.
I have tried to change the version to the older one but it didn't change the outcome.
(posted a bug about it)

Can LS be downgraded?

You can downgrade if there are no database upgrade between the 2 version. You can check it via history of this file : github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/blob/ma...n/config/version.php
If no update : OK at 100% (it's the case here)

If there are update : it can be done … but less sure. I already use a 2.73 and a 2.6lts on same database. The only part was : activate in 2.73, not in 2.6.

Here : i think you can downgrade to 4.0.0, but sure at 100% not to 3.X

I have changed files to my 4.2.1 (renamed the "old-limesurvey" directory to "limesurvey") but it didn't change anything.
