I have an instance of LS Version 4.1.11+200316 running on a shared host.
The surveys have been working fine until recently. When clicking on any active survey, we get the following error message:
"500: Internal Server Error
Unknown "makeFlashMessage" function."
Has anyone experienced this before? If so, have you resolved this and can you advise how to resolve this please?
If it worked until recently, and you haven't updated/upgraded LS since, the problem must be with some update/change made to the server. A running Limesurvey installation usually doesn't just stop working without any changes. So I would start with the server environment and the changes that have been made since.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
