Hey Hello!!! I want to know how to install LimeSurvey on Windows 10, the programs Im using are the following:

- PHP 5.6
- MariaDB 5.5
- PHP Manager

Hi,
at first you should install a XAMPP or WAMP server.
www.apachefriends.org
Here you install LimeSurvey by copying the unzipped files to the htdocs folder and run the installation.

Just as Joffm says. I just want to add one thing. You might know this, but we are getting these things often here in the forum:

The installation via XAMPP on your desktop computer is NOT ready for productive use. First of all, your computer should not be reachable from the internet (at least if you don't really know what you are doing in terms of server and network administration, but then you probably wouldn't have asked about how to install LS on your computer anyway).

The installation on your desktop computer/notebook is good for testing Limesurvey and also for creating questionnaires locally / offline. But for you to run the survey, you should install Limesurvey on a webserver.
Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
