Hi.

Users on my survey are receiving one of two errors when they reload the survey (via a 'restart the survey' link on the last page): 1. Session expired or 2. 400: Bad request. Screenshots attached. I have been unable to replicate the issue. They have tested on multiple devices and browsers and have the same errors.

Seems you have another system maybe with login part etc …

Then best : separate the 2 system.

This can be done using config.php
www.limesurvey.org/manual/Optional_settings#Session_settings

In my opinion :
1. Give a specific SessionName
2. Put the 2 cookies on 'path' => '/survey/',

Hi Denis,

Thanks for your speedy reply and for identifying the issue. Can you please provide some more information on the problem and how to fix it. I have had a look at the link you sent and the related documentation but am not at all experienced in this and do not understand. I don't want to cause more issues!

Can you give more details on "a 'restart the survey' link on the last page"? What and where is that?

I‘m unsure it was the issue,

But :
You can update your generated config.php file
And approximately here : github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/blob/c3...sample-mysql.php#L52

Adding something like this1

Users or respondents? User with a login into LimeSurvey to design and conduct surveys?
Or only respondents?

If they are just respondents, are they using other webapps on your websites?

In the survey end message there is a URL to restart the survey embedded in text. Link is: sarcoidosisuk.org/survey/index.php/767447?lang=en

Apologies - I am talking about respondents. As a user I do not receive the same errors.
I'm not aure if they are using other webapps. Does this include any installations on the same server, i.e. our website and online shop?

Try adding the newtest parameter to the URL to enforce a new survey.
