I would really appreciate your help in the following issue:

Do you know the maximum number of questions and subquestions a survey can have? I tried to activate the survey (a copy of it) I am translating and the following message appeared:

The survey response table could not be created. Usually, this caused by having too many (sub-) questions in your survey. Please try removing questions from your survey.

Our survey is very long and apparently, we will have to divide it into smaller surveys.

No fix number. That depends on many factors. LimeSurvey uses a strange database concept to save survey structures. More infos to get a feeling and rule of thumbs about survey size limitations, look here:
