I had Upgraded lime survey from 2.62 version to 3.17 version in Server it is asking for database upgrade .Can Anyone Suggest How to Upgrade Data base Without lossing Data From Pevious DB.
This is usually no problem and you won't loose data. However, before upgrading it is always good to make a backup of your database, just in case something goes wrong.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

When i moved lime survey 3.17 to Server the Previous version(2.62) has 347 database Version the Current Version(3.17) Had 358 Database Version then it is Showing the screen with database Upgrade Option .If I Click on it IS there Any Chance to Loss the Live Surveys Data.Please Let me Know this.
We make the maximum to don't loose any data during database upgrade.
Then: you don't loose data on upgrade.
Else : it's always good to make a backup before any update.
