During the past week, I've read a lot of topics about it, and it left me confused.
A little about my situation: we have 200+ surveys (some of them run every year), current version is "2.00+ Build 130708", we have over 30 people that run these surveys almost no theme customization (only logo at the top, always using citronade theme or a modified version of it because of the logo on the top), no plugins.
I know it's quite old, so I want to get the lastest version (for security reasons, and also the 3.x looks better altogether). I've read that the best way is to upgrade to 2.06 (or 2.6.7) and after to 3.x (skipping other versions), but the only manual I found was to upgrade from 1.x to 2.x (

). Any help on manual update tips would be greatly appreciated.
About comfort update, I'm open to it, but when I click on "Verify new updates", it says I'm running the last version. Does comfort update works for version 2.00+, or only on 2.06 or 2.5 or higher?
I also read about making a clean installation on 3.x and after migrating the surveys, but no idea how that'd work.
There's always the possibility of having both versions running (2.00+ in case we need to access old surveys and 3.x for new ones), but I'd like to avoid this possibility.
I also read about LS4 that was supposed to release Jan/2019, but seems we're still on v. 3.17, so my guess is that it's not worth waiting for it to upgrade.
