replace favicon

I have followed the instructions here: www.limesurvey.org/manual/Theme_editor#Display_custom_favicon
However I cannot get the favicon change to be applied. Can anyone give more details on how to apply this change. Specifically which startpage.pstpl should i be editing? Can i do this within the theme editor or not?

Check with different browser or empty the cache. The Favicon often stick with the old version in the Browser after updating.

  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

That article is for older versions. In 3.16.x, I believe that you can simply replace the .ico file in your theme /files directory.
