Switched to vanilla - same issue...slightly different console error:

We are currently facing a very similar issue with the latest Version 3.17.2+190408. At one server the ranking.js and ranking.css is not loaded while on another system with the exact same version and test survey it runs fine.

Did you find any explanation for the file not being loaded? My guess is some proxy preventing those files to load but that is just a rough guess.

The issue shows up with all templates we tested and only after a recent update (3.15 to 3.17 if I remember correctly).

Ajax mode was my guess as well but turning it off made no difference.

I can't test debug mode since I can only access Limesurvey at that system. Why would it make a difference? Because of loading data from assets? I already tried clearing the asset cache.

Was this reproduced with different surveys? E.g. a clean simple 3-4 item ranking question only?
