Shared Hosting server

Hello.
Today I tried to delete a single answer from a survey and I got the "400: Bad request - The CSRF token could not be verified" error.
I read on the Troubleshooting that it could be related to max_input_var beign set too low, but mine is set on 10000.
Being on a shared hosting server I can modify only some of the php.ini setting (see attachment).
I also don't get the meaning of the sentence: "If you still have problems, try switching the module to simulation_mode (and so basically deactivate it), as the maximum value always depends on your particular survey": what is this module and where do I find it?
Any other hints on how should I solve this?
