Good day ladies and gentlemen!

I didn't find detailed information on forum or in the manuals how to deploy LimeSurvey app with PosgreSQL on the separate servers.
I have the PostgreSQL-10.2-1 installed on Windows Server 2012 R2. I also have separate server (Windows Server 2012 R2) ready for LimeSurvey app, but when I am installing LimeSurvey it don't ask me to specify DB type or to specify DB location, remote host. It's just installing to XAMPP directory with MySQL.

I have read that I can modify config files and specify PostgreSQL instead of MySQL to use it localy, on the same server as a LimeSurvey installed, but it is important for me to use remote DB server.

Could you please help me with that? Or share the link to the article in manual (in case I missed that)?

My LS version is limesurvey3.3.1+180214-on-xampp free edition installed on Windows Server 2012 R2.

How are you installing it exactly, if it doesn't ask for db type/name?

So you installed something like this?
limesurvey3.5.0+180309-on-xampp-win32-setup.exe

Then you will get what it says: A xampp-mysql installation.

To be able to select your database you have to install manually from one of the other packages like "limesurvey3.5.0+180309.zip"
