Howdy,

My users are experiencing a couple issues with LimeSurvey after I had upgraded
the application from 2.73 to 3.2.0.

The primary issue being that whenever they create a new survey, the application
will create a copy. In other words, it looks like LimeSurvey is running the same
MySQL query twice when creating the surveys.


The second issue that the users are experiencing is that whenever they create a
new question and click the "Save" button, the application will not redirect them
back; it simply stops at a whitescreen.

Any help would be appreciated.

I wonder how you did manage to upgrade to 3.2.0? ComfortUpdate?

Latest available version is LS 3.4.2. So you might update again and check again.
Bugs are still discovered every day.

As jelo says, please update to the latest version.

I'd also like to know how you got to 3.2...

Manual upgrade? Did you guys forget about that option already?

3.2 is not available for download. 3.4.2 is the latest version.

You're right. I'm still not amused by the name scheme of LS offers.
LimeSurvey CE was mentioned. Which I sometimes confuse with a Comfortupdate subscription.

The first question will alway be.

3.2 is not available for download.

Not now, but I assume it was some weeks ago. Most probably on 6/2/2018 and a few following days. So he could have downloaded it then and installed it, couldn't he?

Due to how security is implemented at my company, I have disabled the ComfortUpdate. The process that I follow when updating LimeSurvey is:

• Download CE release from LimeSurvey
• Upload to server
• Create snapshot of document root
• Rsync new release to document root
• Change permissions on some directories

I got the 3.2.0+180206 edition from the above link when I updated the application about 2 or 3 weeks ago. You can also find the version on Github .

As you guys have advised, I will get it updated to the latest version. Will have to be sometime next week as this week is pretty packed. I will report back to this thread about the status.
