Hi,

I've been trying for several hours to send an invitation to 138 participants.

Every time I get:

"504 Gateway Time-out
nginx"

especially annoying since I can't save the email to try later.


Is this a limesurvey server problem and I wait, or is there some chance I have done something wrong that I can fix?

Sounds very much like a problem on your server. You should speak to the administrator of your server.

Sending email take time , then you must send less email by batch (50 is the default) or add time for PHP script.
You can try extensions.sondages.pro/mailing-manageme...-email-in-one-click/ for an alternative solution (sending email one by one => no time issue).
