After getting repeatedly the message "unwritable session path" during pre-installation check, I just copied the previous config.php to the new directory. The application started and updated automatically the database. Everything seems to be OK (I even sent a test invitation to a survey). Could this cause any problem?
You hardly will get an yes or no to your question. The issue with the non-writable path could be a bug in the installer. Could be an issue with the php settings. Nobody beside you knows the content of the config.php.
If the have no issues running and editing the survey you no longer have a session path issue.
That kind of issue would be preventing a correct survey taking.
