I just installed and configured LS from limesurvey2.51.0+160829.tar.gz under CentOS7 and all seemed to go fine, but when I tried to login as admin, it rejects it. I am copying and pasting the password that was generated for admin, so that can't be the error. Lost Password claims to have sent email, but localhost's sendmail maillog has no record of this being sent.
Is it possible to force a re-run of the installer, or do I have to wipe and go from scratch?
Have you configured email settings? Because if not, Limesurvey can't send the lost password.
Have a look in the manual and the forum, there are ways to get the admin password back. Not sure if they work with the latest version, but probably worth trying.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

I mean have you configured the email settings in Limesurvey? Because from what I can see, you were not able to login for the first time, which means you couldn't actually configure the email settings in Limesurvey, right?
