. Need help correctly configuring PHP mbstring and iconv for LimeSurvey to use SQL Server
2012 SP1 as its database. SQL Server is running on a Windows Server 2012 R2
instance in the Amazon Cloud. Actually I need help configuring all LimeSurvey peculiar settings for it to
consistently connect to and use a SQL Server 2012 SP1 database instance..

. After an "successful" install, I am unable to login as 'admin'. I am getting some sort of
collation error. At the very BOTTOM of the attachment you will see the specific error msg I am receiving.

You may need to install FreeTDS (or have it installed) on your Linux server.
Entry for your db server in /etc/freetds.conf should look like:

[your-db-server-name]
host = your-db-server-name
port = 1433
tds version = 8.0
client charset = UTF-8
