Hello all,

Currently running build 151018 on MSSQL, and finally getting around to doing ComfortUpdate for 151109 and 151126. When I go to do the ComfortUpdate, I can't see build 151109. I can only see 151126. So I go to do the ComfortUpdate and I noticed in the Change Log that it lists the changes from build 151109 to build 151109. I didn't type that wrong. It should say from build 151018 to build 151109. Further down the Change Log it also says changes from build 151126 to build 151126. Not sure if this is an issue or not, but I click past that and then I get an error message saying that ComfortUpdate couldn't remove one or more files that were deleted with the update, and then I have to cancel the ComfortUpdate.

There has been nothing deleted on my end, so I am at a complete loss right now. Thanks in advance for any help you can be.

comfortUpdate only offer the possibility to update to the latest version available for your build.
Last build is 151126, so it's ok.

Ok. I figured that was a possibility.

However, the larger issue that remains is the ComfortUpdate not being able to remove the file(s) that were deleted in the update...

probably just a permission problem on your files/directory

The directory has full read/write permissions and we are hosting on IIS.

Any particular part of the directory that needs specific permissions?

So, you're updating from build 151018 to 151126 on an ISS server with MSSQL, right ? Many people did the update from 151018 to 151126 without encountering problems. So it's probably related to ISS (ISS and MSSQL: why ??? ).

Could you please provide me the exact error message please ? Normally, the comfortUpdate should check the permissions before doing any change, and should ask you to change those permissions if needed... So you maybe found a bug.

For now, if it's an emergency for you, you can still update using this package :
comfortupdate.limesurvey.org/old_updates...te-151018-151126.zip

Just unzip it, and copy paste its content to the root of your LimeSurvey installation (of course, backup it first). Then, change the build number to 151126 in application/config/version.php
