Installation Database issue on 1and1 hosting

I am having issues with with the installation script on 1and1 hosting

Database location: db592553380.db.1and1.com
Database user: dbo592553380@10.72.2.9
Database password: ************

The above fails information fails with this:
Please fix the following input errors:
Connection with database failed. Please check database location, user name and password and try again.


I created the database before running the script. Any help/pointers will be appreciated.

I think the data is wrong.

I don't know 1and1.com, but I assume the database is on the same host. Usually you have to put "localhost" (I might be wrong here, because the database could actually be hosted on another server, but the "db952553380.db.1and1.com" looks pretty weired to me.

And the database user also looks strange to me. I would try this:

Database location: localhost
Database user: dbo592553380
Database password: ************

  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
