We are new to LimeSurvey and think it a great product.

We have a question about quotas - is it possible to have a quota based upon the number of completed surveys rather than questions/answers.
We want to be able to set up a quota which basically says if ten respondents have completed the survey then prevent any one else participating.

As this is a support forum is run by the community (all volunteers) it sometimes takes some time. If no one has an answer, there might be even no one answering.

I was about to answer, but halfway through my response I noticed that it did not make sense.

I don't think there is much interest in using completes as a variable since you'll never know if a complete is a high quality complete or a fake complete or something in between. To many issues.

Hi,

Alternative (without js)
- Create a multichoice queston (QUOTA) type with ONE sub question (COMPLETED)
- Hide it using Question advanced settings
- Create an equation question type and put in Question text : {QUOTA_COMPLETED=="Y"}
- Hide it using Question advanced settings
- Use this QUOTA COMPLETED to yes for your quota.
