Hi friends, Does LimeSurvey have a limit regarding the number of questions, whether they are multiple-choice or single-answer, when creating a survey?

Hi,
the answer is:
LimeSurvey itself has not limitations, but the used databases have.
Read the manual here about limitations regarding survey size.
www.limesurvey.org/manual/General_FAQ/en...does_LimeSurvey_have ...
This means:
MySQL with InnoDB: 1000 columns
MySQL with MyISAM: 1500 - 1750 columns (depends a bit on question type)

So if you can't activate the survey because of size you may
 • split the survey
 • redesign the survey (other question types, tayloring, limit precodes to the objects of interest after a pretest, etc.

Really ?

On my previous test : more limited around 750 columns.

I think postgre is better here ?

Here a rough test in my installation

1. mostly array(text), array(numbers) questions

2. mostly multiple questions
