Do others have been asked about very quick tests without explicit next-button? Like quiz or quick poll, where you just select a picture you like most and then another set of pictures appears etc. This is against the idea of having questions shown group by group, so may not fit well in to current framework. But then, if the question would disappear after answer, and group after all questions have been answered, then it might work.

Does this help?

forums.limesurvey.org/forum/can-i-do-thi...and-hide-next-button
I am quite sure that it does... for me. For most of our users it is quite painful to write JS or even modify JS given by example.

So this is mostly about open wondering: would that fit in the to frame of LS?

I agree. JS is a workaround in the hands of people that know how to use it. There are so many useful JS-scripts that each solve a very specific function, that it would be impossible to wrap all these solution into one or more modules.

LimeSurvey would be over crowded with many too specific buttons and field.

Could this be done by a css-class on the question, which is listened to by the theme?

gitlab.com/SondagesPro/QuestionSettingsT...assets/autosubmit.js

Allow bot :

1. Automatically if question are single or array with a single subquestion
2. Can be forced using onquestion class.

Do others have been asked about very quick tests without explicit next-button? Like quiz or quick poll, where you just select a picture you like most and then another set of pictures appears etc.

This is exactly what we have developed recently - a dynamic, Typeform-like LimeSurvey theme with an auto-submit feature: Demo

Our new theme Flowy is available for LimeSurvey 6 and 7. It creates a dynamic, Typeform-like survey experience by automatically loading the next question after a supported question has been answered. This removes the need to click the “Next” button.
Flowy currently supports:
  • Radio buttons
  • Dropdowns
  • Arrays and flexible arrays
  • Date questions
  • Short and long text questions
Automatic navigation can be enabled or disabled in the theme options. The theme also includes options for adjusting colors, fonts, layout, footer text and other display settings.
I have attached a few screenshots showing the theme and its configuration options.

Flowy is currently available at an introductory price at our online shop . Pay - Download - Use -> Get your new theme in 2 minutes.

I hope this is useful for anyone still looking for a one-click, auto-advance solution for LimeSurvey.
