Having used Limesurvey for a number of years I thought it was about time to ask politely for a config page for all surveys.

Currently 90% of the questions we ask are Single Choice List questions which are mandatory and we do not show the help tip. In the answer options we always go from 1-X in a numerical increment.

Would it be possible to have a global config page that sets the defaults for all surveys to help in the creation of them moving forward.

If not would someone tell me where I can "force" these default switches to be "On" in the code base?

It will be possible in LS4 where you have an option called: Save Default Options inside each question type.

Great suggestion Dave - what you describe matches exactly with how I use Limesurvey too.

Personnaly: i use copy questions when i need near same question.
