I suppose this is a bug, just to make sure:

A question of type "Array", setting Display > Random order, should it randomize BOTH questions and answer options? A user wants randomized question order and has answer options "1 (very unsatisfied)", "2", ..., "7 (very satisfied)", and that does not work well.

The answer scale from 1 to 7 should not be displayed in a random order. You haven't mentioned which version of LimeSurvey you are using.

I would be surprised to see a new feature that allows both axes to be randomised.

However, there would be some use cases for that feature.

Version is LimeSurvey Community Edition Version 6.16.0+251120, i.e. from the last week.

And yes, the feature could be useful in some narrow cases.
