Hello there, my survey list, inside admin homepage, was belonging to "Default" group. Now something happened and belongs to "Edited" group.
"Edited" group was before "Default" group, but now looks like was overwritten. This group elements are coming from lime_surveys_group table.

When I go inside global usergroups page editing example.com/admin/usergroups/sa/index I can see groups from table lime_user_groups.

When I assign a group to a Survey, I expect to assign to Administrators User Groups, what's wrong?
Why there are two kinds of groups? What's the meaning?
Another question, how do I can inspect which user edited lime_surveys_group table, having which privileges?
Is it related to a leakage in old versions?

I managed to gather more informations about groups. There are many kinds:

• Users (survey administrators) groups
• Survey groups
• Question groups

User groups are for accounts organization, you can collect Survey Administrators profiles in it, set shortly Survey privileges to all members, send emails.
Survey groups let you organize surveys in administrative backoffice, set theming options.
Question groups are inside of the Survey, lets you collect questions in pages, mainly.

You can use too to guive Permission on Surveys inside this group. I know some company using it more as user group permission on survey system

Do you have information about which kind of configuration must be done to manage Survey permissions based on Survey Groups, instead of User (suvey admins) Groups? Can be done only on 6.x branch? I never heard of this before, but it's interesting for a slim management.

It's already in 5.X

You manage your Permission User Group for surveys inside each Survey group

One user can be in multiple Survey groups, can have different permission on each Survey group (one with only view (and export (then can copy)) need with whole line etc …
