Hello,

can someone explain to me the difference between the extensions of imported files lss and lsg, I have a survey in lsg format but on my version 4.1 I only have lss or text possible to import

You may have a survey as *.lss, BUT no survey as *.lsg.

*.lsg is an exported question group.

*.lss = LimeSurvey survey
*.lsg = LimeSurvey group
*.lsq = LimeSurvey question
*.lsa = LimeSurvey archive

So first you have to create a survey to be able to import your lsg.
And of course you can only import lsg when creating a new question group. Here you will find the button to import

it's true, I just imported the group (.LSG file) in my survey and it works
