Hi,
I just updated LS from 2.6 to 3.18 and I'm stuck with the new theme system.
I followed the tutorial from here www.limesurvey.org/manual/New_Template_S...late_System_in_LS3.x .
The options are then displayed as expected but they are not saved at the survey level.

If I modify one option, whatever it is, it's always back to the default, i.e. "Inherit" event though the system indicates "Theme options saved".

I simply extended the bootswatch theme and added the "Show title" option as indicated.

Would you have an idea why the options are not saved ?
I tried to uninstall and re-install the theme without success.

I'm not sure I understand your answer, do you mean it's a kind of bug and you forwarded this to the development team ? Does this mean we can expect a fix soon or later ?

I recommend to open a bug report. It might be not a real bug, but it will help raise attention to this issue.
The manual might is missing some important information. That's why it makes sense to submit a bug ticket.

I think you must show exactly the code you added : class name, etc … can be important. All save system use JS : it's make complicated to adapt …

I have the same problem with 4.2, so is this still a bug? It looks like I have that problem only with the vanilla theme

it can not be the same issue since 3.X and 4.X theme options are totally different.

I started creating a theme last year using the version 4 in pre-release and I had this issue. Now I'm using the latest release (4.2.2+200504) and I still have this issue.

Maybe version 3.X and 4.X theme options are different but it remains an issue that NEEDS TO BE FIXED.
