If you want the logo to be placed at right side:

But it does not align right.

This alignment depends very much on which template you are using.

Hello, Holch. I took the default template, copied it under different name. Added logo, tried to align it. No go. Than I added favicon and logo aligned, could it be cache issue?

If the only change you made was adding the favicon and it worked afterwards, then I am pretty sure it was an cache issue.
