1st : it's a server issue, surely somthing with mod rewrite and security

Thanks for your reply. I will check into the server error but have a feeling you are right as it's not the first server issue to cause me trouble with installed scripts and I've only been with this hosting company a short while. Also the version and build are as follows: Ver. 2.05+ Bld 141229.
If anything else comes to mind then please let me know but for now thanks very much for your time and of cause identification of a probable cause of the issue.
Windows or Linux ?
Apache or IIS or nginx ?
PHPinfo can be intersting too.
Maybe an issue with the link. What is the link before saving changes ?

Yes you was correct it was the Mod rewrite feature, been disabled on the account. Not use to shared servers and having these issue but thanks for your help.
