i have limesurvey 2.05+ installed. i am making question groups and putting questions

some of my questions are mandatory, but when i test survey there is no indication that a question is mandatory. only when i press submit an error message in red saying "this question is mandatory" shows under a question if i don't answer a mandatory question

i need to say at the top of each question group "questions marked with * are mandatory" then next to each mandatory question an * shows

i went to template editor, made copy of default template so i can edit then went to the css file of the template. there was a class for asterix which had display:none in it so the * are hidden by default. i put display: visible and deleted that line. still nothing

how do i make the * show?

Does the "*" show in the html source code?

What version of 2.05 you have installed.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

I see - this will be fixed in the next build. See github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/commit/...c8aecfff457d57912b38 for a fix.

There was a new release today: github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/commit/...1fb9c304ee1e2d6c326e

As for the feature request, please visit our bug tracking system ( bugs.limesurvey.org ) and add a new "feature request" ticket there.
