If I want to edit a template bypassing the template editor, is there any reason why I can't or shouldn't combine the .pstpl files that comprise it into a single pstpl? So, I would like to move the html contents of the startgroup.pstpl, groupdescription.pstpl, question.pstpl, etc. into the startgroup.pstpl and ftp it up to the server.
I would keep the all the pstpl files on the server... but they would be blank or their contents would be commented out.
Will it break something in the survey engine that perhaps I'm not aware of?
I am sorry but that won't work. For example the question.pstpl is used repeatedly in a page because a question is usually used multiple time on the same page.
