How can I setup my ranking question like the thumbnail above?
Thanks

I think you can't, at least not in the newer versions.

The thumbnail shows the old style.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

If you don't like the drag-and-drop ranking you can use an array type question with the following as the "Question validation equation". It will force each row to be unique.
Code:
unique(self)

And perhaps something like this for the "Question validation tip".
Code:
{if(!unique(self), 'No duplicate rankings.', '')}

Here's a sample survey.
