How to identify who has responded was created by mark01
A retailer will be emailing and SMSing a sample of their clients with links to a LimeSurvey survey.
I want to identify who has responded so that the retailer can give me information from their database ito sales activity of the respondent.
How can I somehow attach a unique number to each email and SMS that is returned with the response data?
Any suggestions welcomed.
Regards
Mark

You'll need to use tokens.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Or alternatively you pass the ID into a hidden question of the survey:

1. Add a text question with code "id"

2. At the advanced question settings of that question set "always hide this question" = "yes".

3. At the end of the survey URL add ".../id/12345".

At an activated survey the passed "12345" should be stored at the background.
