I spent quite some time on completely rewriting the "Limesurvey Roadmap" wiki page .

Please help us extending this list of Limesurvey 2.05 features and update anything else you can share information about.
Please also help us keeping this more up to date.

Thanks!

Hi Mazi!

Thank you for the new Roadmap. I'll have a look at it.

I agree with Tammo and Jelo, that while this might not seem very important for the developer team, everyone else who is interested in using Limesurvey on a long term needs to get an idea where Limesurvey is heading. Otherwise anyone who might put some resources into Limesurvey will switch to a different solution, because of insecurity. But even if those people never put any further effort into the project, it is still quite good for the development team to sit together and talk about the strategic future and long term goals, I think.

One aspect of 2.06 struck me: Conditions for sub-questions finally supported based on relevance equations

I really hope it does what I think!

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

That's why I have updated the overview for you. Hopefully others will help extending it and keeping it up to date.

Yeah, that's a great new feature people were missing for a long time.

Please test and report bugs, Tammo just volunteered for checking reported bugs and helping us a little so let's keep him busy :-)

I already downloaded 2.06 and hopefully will install it soon. Just a little busy for the next days, but then I am quite curious as well, so I really want to get this up and running asap to be able to test.

Thanks Mazi, this is great help.

If I would want to add anything to the roadmap, I need to login. Where can I do that?

www.limesurvey.org/manual/index.php?titl...o=LimeSurvey+Manual#

Designing a new template for Mediawiki is quite something. If the developers need all their time to focus on LS, would it be an idea to just use the standard Mediawiki layout, just add the LimeSurvey logo? This will possibly free some time for new developments!

But having said that: adjusting the Limesurvey.org to a more modern (responsive) layout would be great for a more modern view on LimeSurvey as a whole. I know that the team is working on that, that would be a great improvement!

Then I can show my customers what I am working with!

The new Limesurvey website is available to the public now. We are looking forward to your feedback.

Currently we are working on the single-sign-on for website/wiki/bugtracker. You should be able to log in at the wiki with your forum account details.

We are also collecting ideas about adjusting the forum's CSS. So if there is anything on your wish list, please let us know.

Why is that post in this thread? Nearly every forum I know has a section for website/forum related things. Beside the news section a little messy section for post like this would make easier.

CSS Forum : I am missing a different background for quotes. Or at least a box around quotes. That's is the biggest issue I face when looking at threads. Quotes are hard to see.
Thanks.

Hi Tammo,
I downloaded the tfr template and test survey, thanks!
Some comments on the test survey:
  • For additional language nl-informal, most of the answer options and all subquestions still have to be added? It doen't look very nice now...
  • Our setup is based on PDO_dblib/FreeTDS/mssql. In your test survey, after clicking Next, I get a database error: "Internal Server Error
CDbCommand failed to execute the SQL statement: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 20019 Attempt to initiate a new Adaptive Server operation with results pending [20019] (severity 7) [(null)]
  • " (even after activating the survey).
Did you apply some special coding in javascript somewhere? I wasn't able to figure that out.
Thx, Frank van der Starre

Looks like a bug unrelated to the template.

Issue seems to be PHP/FreeTDS/mssql related, please ignore.

The following aspects caught my eyes when using the commercial demo of the TFR 1.4 on the 21th of July.
    limesurvey-templates.com/demo205/

    On the GIT page github.com/toolsforresearch/tfr_responsive
this is mentioned as known issue.

dialog for date/time setting needs better styling

On the commerical page it isn't mentioned.

    Same as above.

dialog for uploading files needs better styling (it is now a mix of standard jQuery and our design)

The textlabels (e.g. for remaining points) are not shown in a good color. The values on the slider are not really inside the colored boxes.

The grey tones are changing when hoover over the rows with the mouse pointer.
But the hover/highlight grey is the same as one of the row colors. So the hover effect is really seen by the respondent.

I am not asking for support. I just document issues with the template which is also offered via the repository on limesurvey.org.
And since I did the same with older released of this template I have no reason to not post to this thread.
As long a the github page is not attracting as many users as this forum I prefer posting here. If the Limesurvey Team no longer accept this kind of posts I will stop doing so.
