I'm managing a limesurvey server. One user setup a survey and accidentally deleted all the questions. Fortunately I had done a copy oh his survey. Now he asks me to copy a group of questions from the backup survey to the one he deleted. I could successfully export the questions group in a .lsg file. But when importing the file I gets the error message: This is not a valid LimeSurvey group structure XML file.
Is there any knwon issue with XML files I should check in my file?

There was a blank line at the beginning and end of the file which probably has caused the problem. After deleting these empty lines, the file imports fine here.

Thanks a lot, removing the extra blank lines solved the problem.
I had a similar problem with the captcha generated when somebody wants to save his answers and resume later. The generated picture had a blank line at start of the binary file.
