[object Object] Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
LimeSurvey version: Version 6.15.15
Own server or LimeSurvey Cloud: Cloud
Survey theme/template: ??
==================
When I export the answers to a survey, for instance in an Excel file, I wonder where do the time and date in the "Date submitted" column come from? Is it the server's date and time (the server where the survey is hosted), or the participant's computer date and time? Or some universal timekeeper located somewhere else? This is relevant when participants are in a different time zone. Thanks!

It is the server time adjusted by any offset you have in the global settings.

Global settings > General > "Time difference" -  www.limesurvey.org/manual/Global_settings/en
