==================

Hi all,

I’m new to LimeSurvey and trying to set up a basic consent form with branching logic, but I’m stuck and would really appreciate your help. I have two questions:

1. Where can I find the full logic settings?
According to the LimeSurvey manual (see Pic 2), there should be a button like “Check logic” and other options such as “Set conditions” at the top bar when viewing a question. But in my current interface (see Pic 1), I don’t see those options under the Structure tab or anywhere else. Am I using a different UI version? Or is it because of my subscription plan or survey mode? I'm now on the basic plan.

2. How can I create branching logic (e.g., end the survey if the participant doesn’t consent)?
What I want to do is making it end early if the respondent does not agree with the consent form. I tried using “New Logic” under the question settings (see Pic 1), but I don’t see any option like “end the survey if…” or “terminate survey on this condition.” How can I implement this kind of logic? Should I use a workaround like quota or skip logic?

Hi,
1.

at the top bar when viewing a question
...
I don’t see those options under the Structure tab or anywhere else

??? It's still in the question view.

By the way: Instead of the really outdated "condition designer" use ExpressionScript. It's faster, much more flexible,.
Read the manual about a comparison.

2. Use a quota with limit "0". You want to habe 0 person completing your survey who do not consent.
By the way: Isn't the built in feature suficient to get the consent?
