I am a student and I started using limsurvey a few days ago and with many difficulties.
I use an old version of lime and I need to create a ranking question but the answers should be those with value 1 or 2 in the question array preceding the ranking question. I have 10 answer options in the array and if I select 2 of these and in ranking I put the "if" expression for each answer of the ranking question, I get that in ranking I will see the 2 selected answers and 8 empty cells. I would like not to see the empty cells, what can I do?

Hi,
Without seeing anything (you didn't provide the lss export) I suppose you use this equation in the answer option text. So you don't hide answer options but enter a text or a blank.
You have to use the 'standard procedure' with a hidden multiple question that is preset by an equation that only the "good" subquestions are checked.
Now you use this multiple question as array filter of your ranking.
