How can I prevent Limesurvey from showing a default value in a time field?
I actually need duration, but duration does not seem to bee available.

Hi,
if you do not want to enter a time (or date) but a duration you should use a different question type.
Reason (IMHO): you have to recalculate all entries to have the same base unit (like 'minutes') to be able to compare in your analysis
Easiest done by two questions of type "multiple numerical input". Now you can calculate the minutes by a simple eqation.

But if you insist on entering a time here are some ideas (except the first, which is a datepicker)

multiple numerical input seems to be a good solution, but I struggle by setting different maximal input values fur hours (e.g.12) and minutes (59). I can only set the same limits for both questions. Did I miss something?
