Can anyone share their thoughts about how we can connect multiple survey submissions?

We have two questionnaires in LimeSurvey, one for children and one for their parents. We would like to invite teenagers to fill in a questionnaire. Simultaneously, we would like to invite their parents to fill in a questionnaire and answer questions about their children (who also submitted this questionnaire). In practice, multiple parents can submit a questionnaire about the same child. Thus, there is a 1 to many relationship between children-parents.

These submissions should somehow be connected, such that we know:
1. For each child questionnaire, how many and which parent questionnaires relate to this child?
2. For each parent questionnaire, which child (questionnaire) is this about?

Has anyone dealt with a similar scenario?

I already have a system with

1. An organization with their own survey
2. Open another survey to check others organizations
3. Create a token on another survey for each created organizations
4. See the link for each organization and can send this link.
