I have created a survey in Lime Survey and included a question of type "Array (Numbers)." I want the survey to display the main question with only one sub-question at a time on each page. Once the respondent answers the first sub-question, the next sub-question should appear on a new page, and so on.How can I set this up in Lime Survey?

Not sure what ChatGPT has to do with this, but for everything Limesurvey stay away from ChatGPT. All answers that I have seen so far sound good, but are "hallucinations". ChatGPT knows nothing about Limesurvey. Not its fault, probably wasn't trained on it.

I want the survey to display the main question with only one sub-question at a time on each page.

There is no setting for this in Limesurvey. You might achieve something like this via Javascript, but I am not aware of a workaround for this so far. So you will need to create your custom code.

Or you create as many array questions as you want answers and show them one by one. Same effect, just more questions to create.

Hi,
may I ask "when is a subquestion answered?"
Array(numbers) is multi punch.
So the respondent has to click to submit the subquestion.

And this results in several questions with one subquestion as @holch.

Don't one question, with X sub-questions.
Use X questions with one sub-question
