==================
I've done a LOT of searching and checking the manual, but can't find a fix to my problem....I hope there is a fix.

I'm using array filters on several questions in my survey where users select from a group of items in their budget and then, in the next question, see the items they've selected again and then put in numeric values that correspond to the percentage of their budget that goes to those items. These numeric values sum to 100. It's very helpful to the respondents to see the running totals of their answers.

But I've noticed that the running total feature only works if the last selection on the answer list is selected. If the last answer on the preceding questions is NOT selected, then the running total doesn't work and the user has to put in numbers until the "100" turns green, then they can proceed with the rest of the survey.

Is there a fix for this? Or a menu item I'm not selecting on the logic menu?

Thank you so much for your help.....Dano

I recommend to attach a LSS export with just the relevant questions of your survey as a demo. That helps other checking the issue in different installations. Perhaps your LimeSurvey is buggy and newer versions have that issue fixed. Or you've found a new bug.

I can't reproduce in 5.2.13.
So, as @jelo, send your lss export

Hi, and thanks for your replies. Here's a copy of my .lss file for a portion of the survey that includes the problem Array Filter. Please let me know if you figure out what's going on. Seems like it should work, but maybe I'm doing something wrong. Thank you for your help! Dano

Hi,
this behviour is not related to the array filter but to your conditional display of the text field.
You can easily check by removing this condition everything is fine.
And: No idea why.

And why do you do it this way?
Why not use the "Other"-option in the multiple question and pipe the value to the numerical input?
