I am organising an election for my institute and to prepare for this I have been playing around with test surveys with a closed list of participants.
When I send invitations to the people in the participant list, I can see that four people have filled out the questionnaire.
But only 3 answers are shown (actually, all answers are recorded, except for my own...)

What is the reason for this and how can I fix this?

Have you tested the survey while logged into the backend? This might be an issue.

Try to test without being logged in (in a incognito window or in a different browser).

This could be the problem. I have read a couple of times that there can be issues when you are logged in as an admin.
