Hi everybody,

Maybe someone can help me... My survey was successful and I want to end it by expiring. When I expire the survey and the customers click on the link to the survey they do not get a message that the survey has ended as expected but they get the message in the attached Screenshot. 

 

It's an error message inkluding my email address. This makes a very bad impression, besides I don't want my email address to be visible. I can't close the survey because of this.

Does anyone know this problem?

Hi,
if your survey is finished, why don't you just deactivate it (after having exported the responses)?

And as you did not answer the questions about the version and the hosting, it's a bit difficult.
Because of your "free" I suppose you mean the "Free"plan that is hosted at LimeSurvey GmbH. This should be version 5.2.7.
Is this correct?

Is there really this red border?
I do not see this in a LimeSurvey GmbH hosted 5.2.7. version.
 

Do you see anything if you hold the left button of your mouse and hover over the region between the ERROR and your email address.
By the way, it is not your  address but the address of the survey administrator.

LimeSurvey needs an textbox which can be used to override the expired and deactivated error messages. Best would be an addtional URL redirection field.

 

The error screen can be modified in the theme Twig files.
